Paul graduated from the Navy School of Music in Norfolk, Virginia. While performing in New York City, Paul continued his study with prominent trumpet players Ray Crisara and Jimmy Maxwell.

Paul’s performance record is hard to match. He has performed and recorded with Ray Charles, The Rolling Stones, Etta James, Pat Benatar, Robert Plant, James Brown, Sammy Davis Jr., The B52’s, Joe Cocker, Hall and Oats, Robert Palmer, David Sanborn, Aaron Neville, Elton John, Angie Stone, Billy Joel, Wynonna Judd, Unwrapped (an instrumental ensemble that played Hip-Hop hits), The David Letterman Show, the list goes on…..

Paul is one of the most sought after trumpet players/horn arrangers in town. He enjoys working with students of all ages and levels.
