Mary has been teaching and playing fiddle for 15 years. She studied with Cait Reed (a protégé of Joe Cooley of Petereswell, County Galway). Other influences include Kevin Burke, Martin Hayes and Kathleen Collins.

Mary plays throughout Southern California in classical trios She plays Celtic music at pubs and Irish fairs. In addition to playing with her own bands, Lucky Money and Janey Mac, Mary has opened for the Young Dubliners and performed with Samantha Hunt of Gaelic Storm.
