Jim Youngstrom

Jim graduated cum laude with a bachelor in music from CSU Northridge. He studied clarinet with David Howard and Charles Bay. Jim studied flute with Bill Calkins and Sax and Improv with Don Raffell.

Jim tours internationally with the Brian Setzer Orchestra. He has recorded with Steeley Dan and LeAnne Rimes. Jim has appeared on many T.V. shows including Conan O’Brien, Jay Leno and David Letterman. He has accompanied Jerry Lewis on 2 U.S. tours.

Also an experienced teacher, Jim works with students of all ages and levels.
