Hope received her Bachelor of Arts in Music and postgraduate performance studies in flute from California State University in Los Angeles. She studied teaching, performance and application techniques with master woodwind professor, Dr. Vito G. Susca.

Hope has 23 years of private teaching experience and 19 years teaching experience in public schools.
