Danny Halperin

Danny is an alumnus of Julliard School of Music and the Philadelphia College of Performing Arts.  His scholarship to Julliard was awarded to him by Saul Goodman, timpanist of the New York Philharmonic.  He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the State University of New York at Purchase, and a Masters of Arts from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.

 

Danny is a credentialed teacher who has worked with children extensively as a teacher and band director in several school districts in Southern California.  He is an active member of the Music Educators National Conference.

 

Danny has performed and recorded internationally in classical, rock, jazz, reggae and ska venues.  His performances with the Nassau Symphony Orchestra, Smokestack Lighting (featuring Ritchie Blackmore on guitar), Cryptick and Legal Weapon are just a  few of the credits to his name.
